As with other profiles of older players, there weren't any good Bob Pettit clips. So, I'll instead feature his old team, the Hawks, in a classic game 7. This game seven came from the 1988 Eastern Conference semifinals between the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics. Dominique Wilkins of the Hawks dueled brilliantly with Celtic legend Larry Bird, scoring 47 points. But Bird's points were more timely; he scored 20 of his 34 points in the fourth as Boston won 118-116 in one of the best seventh games in NBA history. This clip comes from the late 3rd/early 4th quarter, when the action starts to heat up.
